Beef Cattle Farming

One of the main goals of our breeding is the production of quality breeding material of beef breeds Aubrac and Hereford. We also focus on the production of fattened cattle, both bulls and heifers, with an emphasis on healthy growth, good living conditions for animals and high quality of the resulting production.

Beef cattle farming is divided between three companies at four facilities:

HZ Dolany, a.s – Dolany facility: fattening of bulls and heifers

HZ Dolany, a.s. – Domašov u Šternberka facility: breeding of Aubrac breed and pasture area for heifers

Agrosystém Pohořany, s.r.o.: pasture area for raising cows, calves, breeding bulls and heifers from spring to autumn

Farma Stachov, s.r.o – Lipina u Šternberka facility: ECO pasture breeding of Hereford beef cattle

The main goal of breeding is the production of beef calves for slaughter in our fattening as well as for sale, and further production of quality slaughter animals at optimal slaughter weight and age up to 24 months.

Chicken Farming - Véco z Hané

Part of livestock production is also chicken farming in a mobile coop.

Pasture Véco z Hané

Our pasture farming system combines modern technology with respect for the natural life of animals.

Chickens are raised in a 100% robotic mobile barn powered by solar energy ROVA BARN (UKKÖ ROBOTICS, Manitoba, Canada) that moves to fresh pasture daily. They have access to sunlight, fresh air and the surrounding landscape, but are also protected from adverse weather and predators. This ensures higher animal welfare and safety.

Diet consists of natural pasture supplemented with automated feeding of feed mixture without GMO and antibiotics. Drinking water is a matter of course.

Eggs are laid in special laying boxes where hens have peace and privacy. In winter, these spaces are heated to maintain a stable and clean environment.

Pasture eggs provide higher nutritional values, better ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, higher vitamin content and at the same time support a more natural way of keeping hens.

Horse Care

Our other specialty is horse care and stabling.

Horse Stabling

At Hanácká zemědělská, a.s. we offer horse stabling in an environment that respects their natural needs. We combine agricultural facilities, quality pastures and daily care by people who have a genuine relationship with animals. All-day access to water, quality hay, mineral licks and regular supervision of horses are a matter of course. The facility is located in a quiet area with excellent accessibility and plenty of space.

Our goal is not just to provide a box or paddock, but to create stable, safe and natural facilities for horses.

Approach to Horses

A horse is a living animal with a need for movement, social contact and rest. That's why we ensure plenty of space, stable routines, natural conditions and gentle handling. Our care for horses is based on the same philosophy as care for soil and other farm animals – with respect, long-term commitment and responsibility.
